Chinese characters met Egyptian hieroglyphs at the Cairo Opera House as the "One Character Makes You Fall in Love with China" exhibition opened to celebrate the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Egypt.

庆祝中埃建交70周年的“‘一个字让你爱上中国’中华文化主题埃及展”在开罗歌剧院开幕，汉字艺术与古埃及圣书字跨越千年相遇。

Former Egyptian Ambassador to China Magdy Amer said the exhibition reflects China's rich culture, civilization and history, and brought back memories of his years in China.

前埃及驻华大使马吉迪·阿米尔表示，汉字承载着中国的文化、文明和历史，也让他想起了在中国生活的美好时光。
