中国工程师“定风”减振技术走向全球

On July 27, Academician Chen Zhengqing, a 79-year-old professor at Hunan University and a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, received the Hunan Provincial Science and Technology Outstanding Contribution Award — the province's highest scientific honor. He was recognized for developing the world's first permanent magnet eddy current damping technology, a breakthrough that keeps mega-bridges and skyscrapers steady in extreme winds.
7月27日,中国工程院院士、湖南大学教授陈政清荣获湖南省科学技术杰出贡献奖——湖南省最高科技荣誉。这位79岁的院士凭借全球首创的永磁电涡流减振技术获奖,该技术让大桥、高楼等超级工程在大风中稳如磐石。
Drawing on the century-old physics principle of eddy currents — which produce no contact, no friction, and zero wear — Chen and his team spent over a decade boosting the technology's efficiency by hundreds to thousands of times for large-scale infrastructure. The resulting dampers last 20 years, two to four times longer than top foreign equivalents. The technology has been applied in over 140 major projects across 26 Chinese provinces, including the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, where it tripled visitor capacity from 400 to 1,200, and the 1,480-meter-span Dongting Lake Bridge. It has also been exported to Morocco and Malaysia. In 2024, the project won China's National Technological Invention Award First Prize, with experts calling it "a revolutionary breakthrough in energy dissipation and vibration reduction." The technology is now expanding from civil engineering into wind turbines, rail trains, and aerospace.
陈政清从经典的电涡流物理原理中找到灵感——该原理“不接触、无摩擦、零损耗”,但一百多年来仅用于汽车减速。团队耗时十余年,将电涡流效率提升成百上千倍,最终研发出使用寿命达20年的永磁电涡流阻尼器,是国外顶级油阻尼器的两到四倍。该技术已覆盖全国26个省份140余项大型工程,包括张家界大峡谷玻璃桥(承载上限从400人提升至1200人)、1480米跨度的洞庭湖大桥,并出口摩洛哥、马来西亚。2024年,该项目获国家技术发明奖一等奖,国内外专家评价其为“耗能减震领域的革命性突破”。目前,该技术正从土木工程拓展至风力发电、轨道列车和航空航天等领域。
